Quick Walkthrough

Speak with Count Markus, who is standing outside his mansion at the north end of Silver Creek, to begin the quest.

A second way to start this quest is to just head into the forest south of Silver Creek.

Head into the forest south of Silver Creek to find Adelina, her horse, and three attacking Zhurag-Nar battlewolves.

Defeat the battlewolves and speak with Adelina.

Escort Adelina back to Count Markus to collect your reward.

Detailed Walkthrough

To the north of Silver Creek stands a mansion. Standing outside the mansion is Count Markus, who has quite a dilema:

It is also possible to start this quest by heading directly to the forest, killing the three battlewolves and then talking to Adelina.

Agree to search for his daughter and make your way through Silver Creek until you're at the southern end. Cross a small bridge to enter the forest. Make your way past the wolves and goblins and eventually you'll come upon some ruins. There, you'll find three battlewolves from Zhurag-Nar attacking a horse. Not too far away stands Adelina.

When the wolves are finished with the horse, they'll attack. Defeat them and speak with Adelina to have her join your party:

Escort Adelina to her father to remove her from the party and collect your reward:

Notes

FREE HORSE: It is possible to save the horse before the battlewolves kill it off. If you do so, the horse is yours. Actually, if instead of speaking with Count Markus, you make your way directly to the horse and Adelina, the battlehounds won't even attack the horse.

After she joins your party, check your log. Notice that the entry for this quest says, "...I wonder whether we should make a slight detour and perhaps have one or two more adventures together..."

Indeed, Adelina can make for an decent traveling companion. She's a ranged fighter, so if you keep her bow upgraded, she's a bit easier to keep alive than most others. Keep in mind though - once she's dead, she's gone.

This way, when you eventually return her to her father's to mansion, collect your reward, and speak with her once again, her words will have additional meaning:
