This gift of Nature allows the Druid to conjure forth one or more wolf allies who, with their mystical powers, provide the Druid a potent and ferocious colleague.

  • Summons 1 Dire Wolf minion
  • Dire Wolf inflicts Physical damage
  • Dire Wolf base Armor resistances: Physical
  • Dire Wolf can be killed but will revive after 10s
  • Dire Wolf attributes, damage, health, movement, and bonuses increase with each rune read
  • Regeneration Time of all Combat Arts: +39.6%

  • Fangs - Increases the wolves' damage by 10 + 7.5 per level.
  • Spirit Wolf - Summons an additional wolf.

  • Stalwart - Increases the wolves' attack and defense rating by 25% + 2.5 % per level.
  • Spirit Wolf - Summons an additional wolf.

Usage Strategies

  • Taking all three Spirit Wolf mods will allow for up to 4 Dire Wolves active at once.
  • SHIFT+Click can be used to direct summons in Sacred 2 to attack specific targets. You can set their aggro range (default '/' key) and also toggle single or group attack mode (default '.' key). In group attack mode minions will all attack the same target as you.
  • If the player doesn't mind the possible down time when the Dire Wolf is knocked out, the armor resistance mod can be ignored in favor of the damage mod.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • As a pack, Dire Wolves inflict good damage, all the way into Hell difficulty.
  • No need to recast buff if Dire Wolf falls in battle.
