Usage Strategies

  • All reflect chances are subject to diminishing returns, so none will ever reach 100% chance to reflect. However, the Torture mod will allow Chance to Reflect Melee to get quite high, nearly 90% at the highest levels.
  • For maximum survivability, Spellshield and Shell mods should be considered.
  • If the gold mod Sacrifice is taken then at max CA level, minions will take 45% of the damage intended for the Necromancer. This would be very useful for a summoner with several minions.
  • Since v13, Life Tap gold mod applies its life leech damage to the buff's physical damage pulses inflicted on enemies in melee range. Prior to v13, the mod erroneously applied the life leech to the Necromancer's weapon attacks.
  • Teeth - Torture - Lifetap would be a good setup for a melee Necromancer looking to get the most offensive power out of Iron Maiden.
