You arrive at the farm to deliver the Soldier's letter but find that his Fiancée is not there. Instead you hand over the letter to her brother, Meliondor. What you believed was a love letter is actually nothing but bad news. He is breaking off the betrothal. Meliondor is livid with rage and attacks you. You know he is only angry at the news and you subdue him until he can calm down. He'll apologize for his behavior and then ask you to accompany him to Thylysium to bring the sad tidings to his sister.
