Latest revision as of 02:51, 29 January 2015

At first glance only, this mythical creature is reminiscient of a horse. The Draconicon receives its legendary strength from the dragon blood, which flows in the veins of this hybrid being. Just a few dare to approach a wild Draconicon. Yet once it has been subdued and submitted itself to its master, it is one of the most powerful mounts in Ancaria.

The Draconicon appears to be a 4 hoofed version of a dragon (Draco = dragon). Unlike most horses this unnatural spawn has carnivorous teeth and only the Dragon Mage is able to control this beast.

All four Draconicons will offer increased defense values as well as a bonus to health points.

Three of the Draconicons for the Dragon Mage offer regeneration bonuses to the following aspects:

The fourth Draconicon does not modify regeneration times, but offers a resistance bonus instead (available with Community Patch only).

Notes:

  • A Roof Over the Head quest located in the Village Ruins in the The Cursed Forest region must be completed first to reveal the horse and special mount traders located within the town.
  • With the Community Patch installed, all 4 mounts are available by completing either the Unique Mounts Quest or A Roof Over the Head
  • For a character specializing in only one aspect, using the appropriate aspect mount along with the Riding skill can reduce the regeneration penalty so that it is almost negligible. When the Riding skill level is high enough, that aspect's combat arts will actually have lower regeneration times when the character is mounted.
