== About the Set ==
* The set was inspired by the [http://diablo.wikia.com/wiki/Hell_Knight Hell Knights] from Diablo I, so the names of the pieces are adapted from the unique enemies of that game.

* The Doom Guard Armor uses a special variant skin of the Shadow Warrior's [[Sacred 2:Shadow Warrior Hellknight Set|HellKnight armor set]].  There is also a red and gold variant whose pieces can be found as random rares.

* This armor set has a wide range of modifiers that would be useful for many different builds.  A hybrid, triple aspect Shadow Warrior would get the full benefit of all the items and bonuses. 

* There are no class restrictions on the sword and shield, so any character could use them.  However this would not be enough pieces to get any of the set bonuses.
** The [[Sacred 2:Temple Guardian|Temple Guardian]] and [[Sacred 2:Inquisitor|Inquisitor]] cannot use shields however.  Though the Inquisitor can use shields if the [http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?/topic/21916-enhanced-spells-mod-sacred-2/ Enhanced Spells Mod] is installed.

== The Set Bonuses ==
These bonuses are dependent on character level and [[Sacred 2:Difficulty Levels|game difficulty]].  As the character levels up the Set Bonus will increase on a per level basis.  In some cases there will be no change in stats from one level to another.  This is because some stats increase at a fraction per level up. The server difficulty being played on will also have an effect on the Set Bonuses.  For example a character's Set Bonuses will be higher in Niobium difficulty than any other difficulty.
