Detailed Walkthrough
This quest is a long one, but well worth it in the end. Your dryad will take up the role of protecting the environment, and in this frenzy of flower power you actually make some decent money and experience.
But first things first: where to start ? Your quest starts in The Happy Cow Farm as indicated on the map. Right below the entrance gate, talk to hunter Drogo and Tim Nighthowl. They have problems finding deer, and ask you, as a dryad, to help them track down a deer. Tracking down deer is like using a bow, you've known how to do it ever since you were a little kid. However, we Humans have no such skill, therefor the map comes to our assistance and offers us the location of a deer. Follow the yellow outline to get there.
When you find this Deer, Drogo and Tim tell you what a great deer you found. And look at how huge it is, it will look good on their fireplace... Um, Uh!! What ?!. Time to make sure they understand that is not why you hunt. As soon as your conversation is over, they turn hostile, and you make sure they are punished. You do so by killing them, so that they will again turn NPC. Talk to them again, while they surrender, and follow this path to get to another village.
By the time you get there, Tim is already in the village. Noble, and Bound by honor as he is, he brought some friends to 'beat you up'. Obviously you split 2 skulls and nail Tim to the local inn's door before they realized what that flash of bright light was.
After that, they remain on the ground, and attempt no more such trickery.
As soon as that is done, your spider senses begin to tingle, and you suddenly realise Thelendra in Sloeford needs to tell you something. Again, us mortals have no such senses, so the map yet again comes to our aide. Follow the outline to get to Thelendra in Sloeford from your last position.
Thelendra will tell you that a local slave-owner Tybosso, makes his slaves chop down trees near the river banks. Instantly caught in a web of intrigues and anger, you decide to put a stop to this. Follow the path on this map to get to the slave-overseers, and kill them.
As soon as they are killed, you must try and find slave Theodus. Now he is constantly on the move between his house and the timber-site, but you are bound to find him on, or at least near, the yellow line on this map. when you find him, speak to him.
Slave Theodus will let you know that a local thug, Lowen, is a real abuser of nature, so you decide to be yet a little more dryad-ish, and take it up with this shady person. Do so by following this path. (depending on where you found Theodus, the path might be slightly different.)
When you get to Lowen you find yourself looking at a sight that would leave all but the toughest of dryads crying. Trees are being cut, the river is being polluted and even a cow is being hit. Your eyes turn red, your alter ego takes over, and you cause havoc. You put Lowen and his friends 6 feet under with a speed only matched by light itself.
After that, you do what every good citizen in any country of the world does. You see what's wrong with the world, and you decide to blame politics. Accordingly, you take it up with Mayor Wilkes in Sloeford. Do so by following this path.
By talking to Mayor Wilkes, he makes it clear to you that he had the lame-brained idea of killing cows to keep kobolds away. As a dryad, your superior brains, wit and overall intelligence make you see through such a bad plan from the start. You tell the Mayor how the dryad's deal with kobolds. You guessed it ... It's huntin time! The mayor refuses to believe a word you say, and makes you bring him 10 kobold heads to prove your theory.
Find some kobolds by following this path. Don't bother going to the exact location, since any kobold will drop a head until you have your 10.
When you have your 10 kobold heads, follow the same path back to the mayor, and collect your rich reward. After saving the world from having to come up with Kyoto-protocols, your reward is well worth your effort. A fairly large amount of experience and gold only complement the items you get from the mayor. Add to that the loot from all the people you had to kill, and your day was profitable all together.
