Quick Walkthrough
- Talk to the Hunter Apprentice Tiraen in the Brigand camp
- Kill the wolf who ate his cow
- Talk to the Hunter Apprentice again
Detailed Walkthrough
The start of this quest is located in the Brigand camp, as you can see on the map above.
In the Brigand Camp you will find Hunter Apprentice Tiraen. He is almost constantly on the move, but if you walk towards the merchants, who is stationary, the hunter apprentice is bound to be in sight. Here is an image of what to look for.
The hunter apprentice will tell you his cow went missing, and he would like you to find it. At first you might want to slay the Hunter aprentice for giving someone of your calibre a quest like this, but it turns out your high level of skill and devotion will be needed.
When trying to find the cow, by following the yellow outline on the map above, you will see that your target (the grey circle) is also constantly on the move. As you approach it, it turns out your target is in fact not the lost cow, but a boss-type wolf.
From here on your objectives become more straight-forward and slaying the wolf becomes the obvious way to solve this quest. Once you return to the Brigand Camp to talk to the Hunter Apprentice again, he remembers you of the stupid name he gave his cow, but spelling it out again as D-U-L-C-I-N-E-A. Other then that gold coins are handed over, and a nice experience reward is added. Add to this the loot a boss-type wolf drops, and the quest wasn't a bad one after all.

Notes
Bug: Sometimes you will be unable to click on Hunter Apprentice Tiraen to start the quest. If this happens wait a while for him to move to another location, at which point you should be able to click him.
Tip: This quest is easy to complete at the same time as the quest The Lost Amulets
Note: 'Brigand Camp' is a misnomer for this area; signposts refer to 'Lumberjack Camp', which makes far more sense given the presence of the lumberjack for the quest The Lost Amulets
