Detailed Walkthrough
So, after travelling for some time, your character reaches Neithu'thaz, the town in the eastern Swamp that has a certain troubles with Undead. Lich Kings walk the streets there, so it's not very surprising to meet a Lizardman called Nar'Zhul, who looks like an old Shaman, in this place. He has a quest to offer. Such a person can suggest something interesting, so it seems to be a nice idea to talk to him and to hear, what he wants.
Treasure hunting always promises an adventure, and this 'Fortress', that is lost in the swamps, sound like an interesting place. So any adventurer would give it a try, and your character isn't an exception.
With these thoughts in mind, you leave Neithu'thaz. Now your need to head far to the south in order to reach the Fortress.
- The fastest way to reach the quest location is to teleport to Hissil'Ta - the Fortress isn't far from the Swamp's biggest city. If you don't have the portal open, you may either follow the road to Hissil'Ta (purple way on the map below), or try to rush through the swamps (green way on the map). Since there are no forests nor other obstacles in the Swamp, such a rushing is possible, but since all the places in the Swamp look alike, you may lose your way despite the compass. So it's hard to tell which way would get you to the Fortress faster.
| ||
So, after some time (and probably a long walk), your character reaches the Fortress' gates.
| ||
Now you need to go inside, battling the local Monsters along the way, and to find the book Nar'Zhul asked you to bring. Who knows, maybe there are some more treasures in this Fortress...
- Sadly, the only other 'treasure' that can be found there in the Ascaron Employee Benny Kayser. If you already have the Epic Office Quest accepted, he would give you a nice ring when you talk to him. Otherwise, you just have an opportunity to memorise that he is here.
The book you're after can be found in the chest (or somebody may call it 'a box') in the house, right behind Benny.
| ||
When you click the box, it doesn't open, but according to the phrase your character says, the book really was there.
And... that's all. That really is all you needed to do. All that's left now is to return to Neithu'thaz and to give the book to Nar'Zhul. He'd better be grateful. Only a good reward can make up for such an uninteresting adventure.
- To return to Neithu'thaz you may use a monolith in town, or the portal north-west of it. If neither of them is activated, you'd have to walk along the same long path described above, but in another direction.
Nar'Zhul was happy. According to him, this book is a priceless treasure. So this episode really may be called 'Treasure Hunting' after all...
