Crossbows are weapons that shoot special, heavy arrows, called bolts. They are usually mechanically advantaged over standard bows, requiring greater strength to operate, and also firing at slower rates than standard bows. Their advantage is the significant increase in damage inflicted.
In Sacred, all characters that can use a bow can equip a crossbow in its place.
