Quick Walkthrough
- Talk to Thelal, Senate Envoy in the centre of Sloeford (next to the tree on the paved area)
- Run to the Kobold Hideout North-West of sloeford
- Run around in the camp until you find the Kobold Chieftain, and kill it
- Return to Thelal, Senate Envoy to claim your reward.
Detailed Walkthrough
This quest takes a fair bit of time, but I still consider it well worth the effort.
The quest starts in Sloeford (check map above). If you go to the centre of this town, you will find Thelal, Senate Envoy,next to the tree.
When you talk to him he will explain the problem the town has been having with the Kobolds He wants to you head to their main camp, and kill their chieftain. You can find the Kobold Lair by following the map above.
Once you get there, enter the camp, and follow the path over bridges and through cliffsides. (it's a 1-way path, you can't turn wrong here). As soon as you get to the most northern point of the camp, you will see the Kobold Leader. A big troll, who hurls rocks at you. Fortunately he doens't have too much hitpoints, and he is rather stationary, so that you can avoid being hit as long as you move around enough.
I'd like to add that you have to kill 40 Kobolds before the Troll (the leader) shows-up.There will be a counter showing the kills.(Added by starno1).
Once the Chieftain is slain, run back to Thelal, and finish your quest. Your reward will consist out of large quantities of gold, a fair ammount of experience and a number of quest-given items upon completion.
