Quick Walkthrough
Head West from Rengelwyn and go into the cave just to your South. Work your way through the cave keeping left (East as you head South) until you find Menatrin. Talk to him to complete this part of the quest, then talk to him again to get the next part of the chain.
Detailed Walkthrough
Head West from Rengelwyn and go into the cave just to your South. There are a couple of earth elementals as you enter, but no other enemies until past where Menatrin's hiding. Keep left (East as you head South) until you find the scout cowering in a corner behind a small pool of water. Talk to him to complete this part of the quest, then talk to him again to get the next part of the chain.
