You start this quest by speaking with Novice Itaria. She is on the main floor of the ruined mansion where you start the game.
You complete the quest when you speak with Commander Romata in Bellevue.
You have an opportunity to speak with Novice Itaria again after you complete the quest.

Notes
After you leave the ruined mansion, head west to the cemetary, pick up water from the well and get items from the chest in the cemetary. The only class this chest does not appear for is the Daemon.
