Sacred 2:Khorum Cemetary

In the only major city of the Desert Region, Khorum Cemetary stands in the front yard of the Khorum temple on the east side of the city. The Khorum cemetary can also be referred to as the Cemetary of Bad Puns, mainly due to the inscriptions found there:

- The roman number 4 is spelled IV and if pronounced as written come out as Aye-Vee, which refers to the tube in hospitals used for the introduction of substances into a vein.

• A bend in the road is not the end of the road ... unless you fail to make the turn.
• Is it legal to run into a crowded fire and yell "Theater!"?
• Do poker playing dogs own paintings of humans playing "fetch"?

- Phonetics refers to the spelling of words the way they sound to the speller...which in this case, means that could/should have been spelled with an F instead of the PH

- A play on words which references John Steinbeck's novel, The Grapes of Wrath

• Egoist: One who is me-deep in conversation.

- A play on words which parodies the expression "Knee-deep" meaning that an Egoist, being very into himself would, instead of being knee-deep in conversation, would instead be "me-deep"

• Once I got mad at a chef of an Italian restaurant, so I gave him a pizza my mind.

- Play on words, as refers to the expression when someone is angrily yelling at someone else "Piece of my mind!"

• Is it possible to have too much moderation?

• If you stand on a fence in the middle of a field, which side is greener?

• Two silk worms were in a race. They ended up in a tie.

• If a parsley farmer were sued, could they garnish his wages?

- Play on words, which references the two meanings for garnish. Parsley is a garnish when added as a topping to foods, and wages can be garnished, which means a governing office may take a portion of wages paid to an employee as penalties

• Does the name Pavlov ring a bell?

- References Pavlov's experiments with dogs whereby he was able to condition them to salivate at the ring of a bell.

• I'm still not sure I understand ambiguity.
