Mawino tells you that the King has been forced to borrow a lot of money to support his wars and exuberant lifestyle. Some of those debts are to the Barimak family. But Mawino will offer to waive off a large amount if he arrests Count Pikerelli, a main competitor of the family, for high treason and locks him away for a long time. He'll also ensure that the King becomes more and more dependent on Barimak money, furthering their influence over him. Filigion Barimak would also like to speak but he is old so you go over and help him to his feet. He thanks you for the assistance. This completes part 3 of the chain quest. Speaking with Filigion starts the 4th part, Clerk's Plan (Part 2).
