Chance of finding special items: +X This item modifier increases the likelihood of finding Set and Unique items. Rare and magical items with better quality are also more likely to be found.
This [Item Modifiers|modifier]] was changed with the release of Underworld. In the original Sacred & Plus, the modifier found on items was a percentage; in Underworld the value found on items is a number. The values on all equipment pieces are summed and the result is converted to a percent using a non-linear equation. The effects are diminishing in value – the difference between 10 and 20 is greater than that between 60 and 70, for example.
