Corpse_explosion.png Every corpse created as a result of a violent death carries with it the anguish of its final moments. With this spell the Necromancer is able to call upon those energies and focus them into a single violent force. This force then expels itself from the carcass with such power that it causes a dramatic explosion.

This is a Spell Damage Based Combat Art.

  • Greed - Adds a chance to receive additional items from the corpse (29.8% + 0.2% chance per level).
  • Restore - The soul of a corpse will heal the Necromancer (9.9% + 0.1% total hitpoints healed per level).

  • Apocalypse - Adds fire damage to the explosions (45 + 27.5 per level).
  • Violence - Adds a chance to stun opponents (30% + 0.3 % chance per level).

Skills and Attributes

The following skills will affect this combat art:

  • Combat Discipline - will increase the damage of this combat art and lower its regeneration time if it is placed in a combo.

The following attributes will affect this combat art:

  • Stamina will lower regeneration time.

Usage Strategies

  • Note that, like all CA's in the Poison and Bone aspect, casting speed is determined by weapon speed, and can be boosted by weapon lore skills and +% attack speed. Likewise, the casting speed will be penalized by wielding a weapon with too high a level. Tactics Lore serves as the aspect lore skill in terms of damage boost, critical chance, and modification points.
  • Range can be expanded to great effect with silver mod Danger Zone and/or Combat Art Range +X% modifier on gear.
  • Apocalypse and Plague mods are recommended for maximizing raw damage.
  • Cursing enemies beforehand with Lower Resist and/or Decrepify is highly recommended.
