Open Internet is a Multiplayer gaming option very similar to LAN. In a LAN game, all computers are connected on a Local Area Network, and one of the computers serves as the game server. In Open Internet, as in LAN, one of the computers in the game acts as host – the only difference is that the computers are connected via the internet, and communicate using TCP/IP.
