This is the name for the 7-part 'chain-quest' starting at the Northwest gate of Griffinborough.

The seven quests in this chain are:

3. Suspicion

5. Tailing
6. Pawn Sacrifice
7. Crown Witness

In order to start your journey towards completing this multi-part quest, you will have to talk to Officer Pethyr.

Quick Walkthrough

• Talk to the guard at the Northwest gate of Griffinborough (Officer Pethyr).
• Kill 15 Slave outcast humans
• Talk to cowardly slave outcast.
• Locate the criminal's camp
• Go inside and kill 11 crooks
• Retrieve half burned note
• Return to Officer Pethyr
• Talk to the military Commander
• Meet the Investigator at the tavern between Griffinborough and Black Oaks
• Go to the weapons smuggler's camp north of Black Oaks
• Kill the crooks there
• Return to the tavern, meet with the Informant Harol
• Go back to the camp, meet with the arms dealer
• Go to the west entrance of Black Oaks and meet with the Weapons Dealer
• Talk to the Informant Harol
• Follow the Weapons Dealer to his hideout in a basement
• Take the boat to the next stop
• Talk to the Weapons Dealer
• Kill the two accomplices and talk to the Weapons Dealer
• Escort the Weapons Dealer to the military camp west of Black Oaks
• Talk to the Informant
• Lead a party of soldiers to Castle Reikenstein
• Go through the castle to confront the Lord of the Castle
• Talk to the Lord and watch the coward take his own life
• Talk to the Informant, collect your rewards

Notes

• The sub-quest Investigations is also the name of a Dragon Mage character specific quest. The number 2 was added to differentiate it from that one.
• The number of stars assigned to Pawn Sacrifice is far below what it should be. The Weapons Dealer is positively suicidal!
• In version 2.43, the quest log has a bit of a bug. For whatever reason, the quests Tailing, Pawn Sacrifice and Crown Witness show up at the bottom of the quest list page - regardless of which quests you've done.
