In the Light Version
You are brought before the Keeper of Balance charged with killing members of an expedition and stealing important documents, all of which is entirely untrue. You find out San Holo is the one charging you with these crimes. San Holo was once your betrothed but jealousy and insecurity has deluded him into challenging you. The only way to prove your innocence is to defeat him in a duel.
In the Shadow Version
Instead of San Holo accusing you it's Delia. Delia you thought was a trusted friend, but she too is jealous of your success and figures this duel is the only way to escape from your shadow.
