Talk to Landlord Mauricio to learn of the fertilising properties of lumps of soil from earth elementals.
As Landlord Mauricio says, earth elementals can be found across the region, and all of them will drop lumps of soil on their death whilst this quest is active. It is still probably easier to follow your quest indicators to find the earth elementals in the nearer parts of the region rather than trekking to somewhere such as the Seraphim Valley where there are always a lot of earth elementals.
Once you have killed 8 earth elementals and picked up the lumps of soil they drop, you can return to Landlord Mauricio for your reward.
Logbook Entry
Notes
- Bug: The quest indicator showing where the nearest earth elemental is can sometimes refuse to update once you have killed an elemental and picked up the lump of soil. This can be ‘fixed’ by manually selecting another active quest in your logbook and then selecting the quest Rich Soil again.
