Poison is one of the four basic Elemental Damage and resistance types. It is both given and received in combat, via weapons, ranged or magical battle. Poison can be forged into weapons or armor which will increase the weapon's chance to successfully inflict a poison Damage over Time. Poison, as well, may be a default element of some magic caster's Combat Arts, and depending on the Combat Art, may even be mixed with other elements.

Increased Poison resistance via armor or forging can also decrease damage done by Poison.
