Sacred 2:Enemy Levels
Enemy Levels are restricted by the area limits, and are modified by character's level and his Survival Bonus.
Every Ancaria region has a specific minimum-maximum monster level limit associated with it, which is different for every game difficulty. All monsters in that region will spawn with a level that is within that limit. All max levels are +1 when in underground areas (any dungeon, cave, etc). Some exceptions may exist, but are rare.
Character level determines the actual monster level:
- if the character level is under the area minimum, the monsters will spawn at their minimum level value for that area
- if the character level is above the area maximum, the monsters will spawn at their maximum level value for that area
- if the character level is within the min-max limit, the monster levels will be equal to character level.
Character's Survival Bonus boosts the minimum enemy level (see full table), until it hits the area's cap.
Here are the approximate maximum values for levels of enemies. Some parts of a region may be lower (such as Kobolds west of Sloeford capping at level 6), those are the level caps for the region overall, at its highest-level point.

Here are the minimum values for levels of enemies. Some parts of a region may be lower, those are the level minimums for the region overall, at its lowest-level point.
Gold difficulty Kobolds west of Sloeford are a minimum of level 40.
Platinum difficulty Kobolds west of Sloeford are a minimum of level 71.
Niobium difficulty Kobolds west of Sloeford are a minimum of level 110.
