Detailed Walkthrough
In Crystal Cottages, you meet a Seraphim name Gamekeeper Mara. She warns you of the dangerous ice phoenix named Narmul in the vicinity. Apparently Narmul recently attacked another Seraphim. Then Mara gets the idea to ask you to attempt to kill Narmul.
You will find Narmul to the west, in The Phoenix' Nest. There is a boat portal near Narmul, so make sure and activate the one in Crystal Cottages before you leave to speed your return (you will be coming back, right?).
Narmul is not going to part with his head without a tough fight.
After defeating Narmul, collect the head and return to Crystal Cottages.
Once there, you will meet Sister Prustila near the Monotlith. Show her the head, she will be quite impressed and will send you to see Sophia.
You will find Sophia on the other side of the village, near Gamekeeper Mara.
Mission accomplished!

- You have to destroy the Phoenix Statue before you can damage Narmul, starting with the one in the northwest corner, then going clockwise.
