Quick Walkthrough

• Go to the cave and go inside
• Kill the 11 bandits and other vermin
• Find the half burnt note and pick it up
• Return to Officer Pethyr
• Go see the Commander of the military

Detailed Walkthrough

This quest is pretty much straightforward. Go in, exterminate the vermin and retrieve the note. Make your way back to the west gate and talk to Officer Pethyr who will send you to see his commander. He will tell you to tell the commander that you want to help out with the "special problem" whereby, the commander will send you on your next quest.
