Talk to Avengarius to start this quest.
You will need to go to the cave where the treasure is located. It is guarded by a Minotaur.
Defeat the minotaur and collect the treasure. You get a message that the quest is complete.
Detailed Walkthrough
Talk to Avengarius. He is standing just outside the local tavern. He will tell you about a treasure and give you a map.
The cave is directly west of Silver Creek. After you kill the minotaur inside the cave that is protecting the treasure, you can get the treasure. As far as the log book is concerned the quest is complete as soon as you collect the treasure.
At this point you will have recieved the gold part of the quest reward.

The last part of this quest is more of an undocumented step, similar to the Messenger quest in Bellevue. Go back and talk to Avengarius again after you collect the gold. Agree to share the gold. You will receive experience if you share the treasure with him.
