Quick Walkthrough
Talk to Azortt, accept his mission. Go to his home (the last one on the right heading out of town to the West). The pay book is on the floor. Bring it back to him for the reward.

Speak with Azortt and accept his task:
Find your way to his house:
Go inside and pick up the pay book:
Return to him for the reward:
The only enemies you may meet are the three by the stone bridge into the garrison.
