Skills and Attributes

The following skills will affect this combat art:

  • Combat Discipline - will increase the damage of this combat art and lower its regeneration time if it is placed in a combo.

The following attributes will affect this combat art:

  • Stamina will lower regeneration time

Usage Strategies

  • There is a delay between summoning the Meteor and having it crash down on enemies. Account for this delay as necessary when casting it or putting Meteor in combos.
  • The the radius of the fire blast slowly increases as Meteor levels up. Scatter gold mod will increase both the base range and the scaling effect, so at every high levels the radius will be nearly doubled. Combat Art Range +X% on gear will boost the radius even more.
  • The percentage reduction to enemy attack rating is subject to diminishing returns, so even with the Blind mod it will not reach much higher than -45%.
  • Take the mods Starfire - Starfire - Scorch to maximize the raw damage potential of Meteor.
  • Take the mods Petrify - Blind - Scatter for maximum crowd control against mobs.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Good damage output, wide area of effect.

Cons

  • Meteor comes in a steep angle and sometimes hits a hillside or building instead of the target area.
