Quick Walkthrough
Head East across the bridge, then North down some stairs. Continue North until you reach a T-junction where you should turn right (East). Head East until you reach the next T-junction. Then head directly North to the area where the 3 mutated boars are wandering around. Kill the 3 boars, then head back to Nomengalus for your reward.
Detailed Walkthrough
Head East across the covered bridge, then immediately North down some steep stairs. Continue North on the road until you reach a T-junction where you should turn right (East). Follow the road East until you reach the next T-junction, then head directly North to the area where the 3 mutated boars are wandering around. The boars should be fairly easy to identify (normal wild boar with glowing blue ‘veins’); they have poison attacks and quite a high defence against magic attacks. Kill all 3 boars, then head back to Nomengalus for your reward.
If you are playing a shadow campaign character you can now get the fourth part of the chain. If you are playing a light campaign character the quest chain is now complete.
Logbook Entry
The T-Energy leak in the transmission line appears to be worse than I thought. Apparently there are three mutant wild boars marauding near the transmission line. I must kill them before they hurt someone. As the saying goes: Happy hunting to me!
The pigs are dead! Hmm... I’ve always wanted to use that line. Nomengalus will be pleased with my work.
Nomengalus has rewarded me generously.
Notes
- Bug: This quest is bugged in v2.34 (PC) and does not show up correctly in the log
- Note: The mutated boars move around, so they may not be exactly where the walkthrough describes them, although they should remain in that general area
- Tip: Characters playing the shadow campaign will now be able to pick up the fourth part of this chain from High Priest Gemondan
