Quick Walkthrough

• Travel to Thylysium

Detailed Walkthrough

Head South to Thylysium (see map for possible route). When you reach the city follow the main road South until you come to the junction just Southeast of the portal and Resurrection Monument. Turn left (East) and go into the third house on your left (North).

Talk to Isanora, then head across the road and talk to the Guard with an exclamation mark (!) over his head.

Kill both the Guards when they become hostile – you’ll want either a fire or an ice weapon for best affect – and then talk to Malrina who is standing just behind them.

Head Northeast up the road until you reach the entrance to the Inquisition Headquarters – there’s a rune master, a merchant and a personal chest here as well – and cross over the canal. Head South from here and go into the last house on your left (East) just before you reach the main road running East out of the city.

Talk to Jorinda – she recognises you and claims you were executed for slaughtering an entire village.

If you decline her offer she will attack you and drop some Soldier’s Documents, which you should pick up.
If you accept her offer you will automatically receive the Soldier’s Documents as well as some gold and random other loot; this makes accepting the best choice overall.

Turns out you’re less of a hero and more of a criminal, but you still need to check the main registry for answers as to who brought you back and why. Head West to the senate building and talk to the Guard near the Southeast entrance, then head inside and pick up the Registry of Resurrected Heroes from the podium in the centre of the building.

Looks like the two lists you now have don’t match – time to check the list of criminals.

Head over to the West side of the building and pick up the Registry of Resurrected Criminals.

Seems the resurrected were all criminals, including you.

Time to talk to the man who signed off both lists, Commander Winderlich, for the next quest, In Search of Life.

Commander Winderlich is in the High Elf Outpost to the North of Clearview. To get there, head North out of Thylysium, turning right (East) at the first junction, and left (North) at the second junction (at the Broken Lance tavern); this will lead you to Clearview. Head North out of Clearview and turn right (East) into the High Elf Outpost when you reach it.
