Detailed WalkthroughTalk to Captain Farelan to learn about the hostage situation on The Crane.
Get the thieves off of "The Crane!"
Head south into the Docks. Although the task list in the quest log is rather confusing, essentially you need to kill 5 pirates (it also counts if the guards in the Docks kill them), and then talk to one of the Hostages on the ship to have all 5 added as escorts.
Lead the 5 hostages back up to where Captain Farelan is and then talk to him for your reward.
Good work. I am an honest sailor and I wish to thank you. I am not rich, but I have traveled to many far off lands with my ship. Here take this as a token of my gratitude. Logbook Entry
