Detailed Walkthrough

The Communication with the Gods quest ended with the appearance of Haenir's hologram. Talk to the hologram, and he will ask you to defeat a number of his enemies.

The first part of the task is to kill 10 Thraconians, not to be confused with the Nascent Thraconians you have been fighting previously. For this task, buy extra rations for mount and a pillow for yourself, because you are going to be riding all around the island. Just follow the quest marker and kill everything that moves.

After you have the killed enough Thraconians, the quest marker will point you to the cave where the Ice Hydra lives. Simply enter the cave, cross the bridge and there he is, accompanied by a number of Furies.

After defeating the Ice Hyrda, return to A snow covered village and talk to Haenir. Haenir says he has one final test for you.

Servant! Boy, does he have the wrong idea. You and Battle Master Gambolt have other plans.

Haenir's cave is just a short distance from the village. Inside the cave you will find Haenir. Do your thing and return to the village once Haenir is dead.

Talk to Battle Master Gambolt one last time to collect your reward and his gratitude.
