The Ruins of Khatuz are located in the northern The Swamp region. All the buildings are in ruins to such an extent that the purpose or identity of the original inhabitants can not be determined. Oddly, a well preserved Dragon statue can still be found within the ruins. This is the first area in the swamps you will visit after leaving the Dragon Sea Islands while progressing through the Main Campaign.

- Daniel Dumont: Ascaron employee involved in the Epic Office Quest.
- Bastian Rolf: Ascaron employee involved in the Epic Office Quest.
- Hermit: Involved in the Daemonic Rituals quest of the Dark Rituals chain. This quest is available only with the Community Patch.

Monolith and portal located within the ruins.
Enemies
Mud Snappers, Swamp Rats, Toxic Elementals and Swamp Olms are common in the surrounding area.
