Quest Objective: Discover the cause of destruction in the region and save it from a mysterious eternal battle. Quest Difficulty: 4-5 Stars Quest Giver: Officer Mintuck Location(s): Nanthar Reward: A lot of experience Quest Parts This chain quest called "The Cursed Forest" is comprised of 21 quests that is begun by speaking to Officer Mintuck in Nanthar within the Blood Region. The 21 quests in this chain are: Bleeding Garema In the Jungle Buried Treasures Forest of Thousand Eyes Weird Client On the Archaeologist's Trail The History of the Battle Attack from the Mist Explanations Adventurers Focused Magic Down Diaanja's Refuge Obscura Tinctura Magica Bitter Medicine The Legacy of the Mage Blood and Sulfur Cleansed Blood At the Gates Eye to Eye Until Death Do Us Part Begin the investigation of the wounded and dead Garema and complete this chain quest by accepting Officer Mintuck's quest, Bleeding Garema. Quick Walkthrough 1. Bleeding Garema Find a ship (at Thylysium for example) Travel to Nanthar, the harbor of the Blood Region. (Ice & Blood Expansion) Speak to Officer Mintuck who is stationed at Nanthar. 2. In the Jungle Travel North and find a Garema laying dead on the ground Speak to Amradriel (will receive a reward) Travel East to find an injured Garema laying on the ground and click on the Garema Speak to Amradriel Click on Garema laying on ground Pick up the Dagger Speak to Amradriel (will receive Experience reward) 3. Buried Treasures Travel East and find the Archeologist's Camp Speak to Hattmir Defeat the three thieves Speak to Hattmir Choose to kill him or let him go (quest reward will differ depending on choice - Light character will get experience and items when choosing to let Hattmir run away. Edit: While this may have been true in the initial release of Ice and Blood, as of patch 2.65.2 a dark character will gain the experience and items for allowing Hattmir to run away.) Forest of Thousand Eyes Read the Notes that came from the nearby crate Enter the Forest of Thousand Eyes also known as Bloodwood Defeat 10 of the Flying Eyes (Logbook calls them Demonic Eye) 5. Weird Client Find and enter the Small Outpost Speak to Rahir Speak to Cobra Defeat 10 Flying Eyes (Defeating Mage's Curses count as well) Defeat 5 Draconic Dragonflys (Must complete previous task before this one) Speak to Corba Speak to Lomba Speak to Rahir 6. On the Archaeologist's Trail Approach the camp that has Mishirla imprisoned Defeat the Flying Eye Champion 7. The History of the Battle Approach Mishirla's cage Open Mishirla's cage Speak to Mishirla Speak to Mishirla again Escort Mishirla to a nearby base. A Derelict Manor 8. Attack from the Mist Enter the base Speak to Zombie ThyuByld Defeat the three waves of attackers Speak to Zombie ThyuByld again 9. Explanations Enter the base Speak to Mishirla Speak to Mishirla again 10. Adventurers Kill Diaanja's Hellhound. Click on the Gates: make sure your character trips the quest markers on the ground before each gate. Once you have clicked on all the gates, go behind the tower and find the man in the cage.
