In Village Ruins, you will meet a zombie named Bob Zombie. He complains to you about the dampness and what it is doing to his skin. He tells you the best protection from the dampness is a cape made from flaming horse skin. He wants you to collect the components necessary for him to make such a cape.
Bring me a leather cord and the skin of a flaming horse!

You will be chasing down run-of-mill mob monsters here, so the quest compass will fluctuate a lot. I recommend you follow the road south until a clearing on the south side of the road. Head due south and you will encounter a large number of Constructs. Fear not, your adversaries will come to you. The Leather Cords you seek are carried by the Champions. Just kill all the Constructs you find, and you should have no trouble collecting the five Leather Cords.

After wiping out the Constructs, head east to the river and then turn north. You will find a shallow spot where you can ford. Fight your way west and north to the road, and you will easily collect the five Flameskins you require. Once you hit the road, just turn east and return to Bob Zombie.
Bob is very pleased and gladly gives you your reward.
