Sacred 2:Poison
Poison is one of the five basic Elemental Damage and resistance types. Poison damage can be used as damage via melee/ranged and in magical combat by choosing Combat Arts with the element a player has strategically using against select opponents. Poison, in the form of a Poison Fang can be forged into weapons or armor which will increase the weapon's chance to successfully inflict Chance for Poison which is a Secondary Damage Effect. If successful, Chance to Poison will inflict a Damage over Time.
Poison, as well, may be a default element of some magic caster's Combat Arts, and depending on the Combat Art, may even be mixed with other elements (Malicious Totem's starting composition is 65% Physical/35% Poison)
Secondary Damage Effect
Chance for Poison is also a which causes Damage Over Time if/when triggered, and is as well, one of the Detrimental magic effects.
Increased Poison resistance via armor or forging can also decrease damage done by Poison coming from opponent via melee, ranged or spell.
