Take the scroll to Arch Mage Saewald!
This is a very special scroll. This type of scroll conures a powerful Demon. It is written in the conjurer's blood. We can determine therefore, who is behind all this. I'm not able to do this however, I only specialize in Demonology. You must take the scroll to Arch Mage Saewald. He has the necessary experience to figure out this mystery.

How could this have happened? How tragic. Mages like that are few and far between.

The scouts tell me that the enemy has already started digging a tunnel into my frotress. I've sent almost all of my men to battle. What am I supposed to do? The only ones left here are a couple of old men and inexperienced knaves. You are my last hope. Take care of the tunnel, and go see Officer Willybald afterwards. Notes
If you haven't already done so, there's another quest waiting at the end of the road leading to Trellheim Manor called The Lost Letter. It's a short one and as long as you're in the area, might as well slay multiple birds with one stone. The Shadow Warrior also has a Class Quest in the basement that can also be done at the same time. There is also an Ascaron Employee located just inside the front door if you've already managed to activate the Epic Office Quest
