On the north side of Village Ruins, you will meet Gorhar. He was excavating a nearby cave a released some dangerous spores. He needs rain to prevent the spores from spreading. He wants you to make an offering to Kybele in order to cause it to rain.
Gather 3 rat tails, 1 branch of the Death Tire, 2 vials of blood from file Raargon.
Help! Please! Help me! I've just excavated something in the cave over there. I think it is spores. I once read something about spores in this area, extremely dangerous they are! Not much time to keep them from spreading. Infected persons go bonkers. Stupid. Gaga. Ratty. The full spectrum.
The book said one should take 3 rat tails, a branch of Death Tree and 2 vials of blood from the Kaargon. Those reagents will help to appease Kybele, so she will - hopefully - make it rain. The rain will trap the spores. It will only work with water, not with blood. Go now, you don’t have much time!
You will find the rats on the east edge of town.

The Death Tree is northeast of town.

Once you collect the branch, you will be able to collect the vials of blood right near by.
Return to town and go to the Kybele statue.

If you are mounted, you will need to dismount to perform the sacrifice. Activate the bowl to begin.
Then activate the statue.
Gorhar has moved. You will now find him near the bridge on the west side of town.
