Detailed Walkthrough
As you enter Thylysium through the northern gates you speak with Foreman Damar. His boss, TyBosso is interested in finding the thickest healthiest trees for his ships. Since you're a Dryad, he figures your talents are uniquely suited for this task. He sends you off to his boss in a nearby manor.
TyBosso assumes you're an outcast Dryad and he has a task for you. You quickly disabuse him of that idea and your position on cutting down forests. He orders his Body Guards to attack you. You defeat his guards and start to go after him. But you realize even though you could kill him, he is way too influential in this part of the world. If you kill him your mission will probably be jeopardized. As much as you loathe to do so, you leave his manor without harming him or his business interests.

You defeat his guards and start to go after him. But you realize even though you could kill him, he is way too influential in this part of the world. If you kill him your mission will probably be jeopardized. As much as you loathe to do so, you leave his manor without harming him or his business interests.
You decide to wander this 'forest of stones' and see why makes people live in these places. You end up talking to a young man named Omero. He's in love with Joana but cannot get near her since their families are feuding with each other. He asks if you could deliver a letter to her for him. You agree to deliver the letter...but not to Joana.

You instead hand it over to her mother Thendra. You also claim that Omero was holding another woman while you spoke with him. Thendra is not pleased. She's convinced his whole family is nothing but liars and swindlers and wants to make Omero pay for his arrogance. She tells you that some of their slaves are over by the temple cutting down some trees. If you could kill a few, she's sure that would hurt them where it hurts most, in their wallet.
You don't like woodcutters anyways so you agree and head south of the temple. You find some Lumberjacks and it's easy enough to eliminate 6 of them.

You head back, but instead of going directly to Thendra, you first go to Omero's place and talk to his father, Theodore. You admit you killed his lumberjacks but tell him Thendra was the one who hired you to do it. Sure enough the news doesn't go over well. He wants to get back at her and asks you to kill her nephew Lentas. Lentas has been a thorn in his side for awhile now but he can't catch him in the act. He hides in the shadows while his cronies do all the dirty work.
So you head over to Thendra's and tell her you've killed the lumberjacks. She thanks you and gives you a small reward.
Then you head upstairs to confront Lentas. He's been expecting something like this from Theodore for awhile now and is ready to fight. Unfortunately he's not good at it and you kill him easily.
You sneak out of the house and go back to Theodore to tell him that Lentas is dead. You also tell him the truth of what you've done. He calls for his guards and immediately attacks you.
Omero joins the fray as he must have heard the commotion from outside. On top of that you see Thendra come in through the back door. Guess she found Lentas. So now you have to fight all of them at once. This place got crowded in a hurry. Time to clean house. Once they're all dead you head back to Thendra's house. Upstairs you find Joana. You fool Joana into believing her mother betrayed her, her lover and her lover was a murderer. She even thaks you for uncovering the whole thing. If she only knew the truth. For the first time you think city life just might agree with you.
This ends part 3 of the chain quest. Part 4, Diligent Apprentices - Shadow takes place north of the Dragonmaw Pass gates.
