Detailed Walkthrough
Upon reaching the shore and exiting your canoe, 2 Inquisition Guards immediately attack you. Though you are tired from your travels, you defeat both guards. You find Dryad Shaman Nelyas mortally wounded, lying in the sand and slowly dying. With his last breath he implores you to figure out what is threatening your homeland.. You will not let his death be in vain but are not sure exactly how to accomplish it.
How is that possible! My magic... it deserted me!
Now it is up to you to see our plans through. I will not be able to help you anymore. You need to uncover what's behind the threat to our world. Go to the High Elves and win their trust. Not all of them are bad.
Our people's destiny lies in your hands! Do not fail them... as I did!
Head Northeast across the island chain to the mainland, then North past Happy Cow Farm to Sloeford.

After you reach Sloeford talk to Zamanar. This will start The Runemaster's Son. This is a quick way to get at least two more runes. Runes can be hard to find when you are just starting out.
