Battle Notes
- Racial Type: Demon
- Death Maulers have physical-to-magic damage conversion on their attacks, like most demons.
- Like most demons, Death Maulers have additional damage mitigation against magic damage.
Special Abilities:
- Revive (elites only) - like the Necromancer's spell of the same name, Death Maulers can use this to resurrect dead enemies. They can revive two at once and there is no cooldown on this spell so they will regularly cast it.
- Berserk Bleeding Hit (elites only) - a deadly attack, this is a melee hard hit that has a good chance to cause Open Wounds. It also inflicts life leech damage and has a small chance to stun you. However elite Death Maulers prefer to act like mages so if the player doesn't engage them in melee they can usually avoid this attack.
- Plague Spears (elites only) - like the Amazon's spell of the same name, this attack sends waves of thorns that erupt from the ground and cause poison damage to any foe standing in their path.
