Skills

The following skills will affect this combat art:

Usage Strategies

  • Casting Acute Mind will reduce its own Regeneration Time (Does not effect Cooldown time), so later in the characters development if setup for the best Regeneration times keeping the Spell up semi-permanently will ensure a constant low regen time.
  • Even without the Insight mods, this CA will cause a large increase in damage of any activity calculated with the intelligence value. (non-weapon-based CAs, magic staffs).
  • Taking the Proficiency bronze mod will cause Acute Mind's cooldown (not the regeneration!) to decrease with additional runes. This will allow the duration of the skill to eventually catch up with the total regeneration time, allowing the skill to remain up semi-permanently. This does not occur until later in a character's development, approximately level 100.
  • Useful for speeding up regeneration of Twisted Torment for shrunken head hunting.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • VERY high related damage increase via higher Intelligence for Combat Arts and magic staffs.
  • Seems to increase damage of shurikens (glitch? consoles only?)

Cons

  • Very high initial cooldown time.
