It is this skill that gives rise to the legends of Barbarians being able to sap the life from a creature with a single word..

Usage Strategies

  • Crack only lowers existing enemy resistances. So for example if an enemy doesn't have any poison resistance to begin with, they won't become any more vulnerable to poison damage.
  • The debuffs from Crack, Assault, and Batter last for 8 seconds. The duration slowly increases as War Cry levels up, reaching 18 seconds at max level. Though the debuffs do stack each time the enemy is hit, they have diminishing returns so they will never reduce armor or defense to "0".
  • The item modifier "Opponent Level for Deadly Strike" (deathblow) does not normally work on spells, however by taking the gold mod Roar this item modifier will apply to War Cry, raising the threshold at which double damage is triggered.
  • The radius of War Cry naturally increases as it levels up, doubling by max CA level 200. Combat Art Range +X% item modifier will further boost the effective radius.
