Skills and Attributes

The following skills will affect this combat art:

  • Fire Spells Lore - improves the armor bonus from the Cauterize mod, improves the hitpoint regeneration effect, increases casting speed, allows for modification points.

Usage Strategies

  • Have this Buff on at all times, do not forget to reactivate after death or re-joining a new game.
  • This is one of the only combat arts for which memorizing more Runes has no downside: if a players uses this, add as many runes as possible. This also means that it can be used without spending any skill points on Fire Spells aspect skills and will still be useful.
  • Fire damage mitigation from Fireproof can reach up to 60% at max level. This in turn can stack with other sources of damage mitigation and can potentially reach 100% (fire immunity).

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • A buff with no regeneration penalty.
  • Makes all combat arts regenerate faster.
  • Makes a player regenerate health faster (Synergy with Constitution Mastery).

Cons

  • Requires to take the Fire Spells Focus skill for full effect (Higher Combat Art level).
