Introduction: The Gruesome Inquisitor
|
The Inquisitor is an excellent melee fighter. He is not defensive; instead, he prefers to attack relentlessly with no regard for his own protection. He knows very well that his best defense lies in preventing a second blow from his opponents. The Inquisitor uses his privileges and an extremely high degree of sadism as only these former clergymen do. He disposes of his opponents by various cruel means such as shackling them to a pillory or even executing them.

The Shroud Spider for the Gruesome Inquisitor has blood-red markings on its back. The Ice and Blood version of this special mount is called the Shadow Spider, and has unique spiked armor.
Bonuses and Penalties
Like all special mounts, this Spider gives a large bonus to the rider's hitpoints and defense at the cost of increasing the regeneration penalty of combat arts.
However, this aspect mount gives a special bonus which offsets the regeneration penalty to Gruesome Inquisition. Therefore, the Gruesome Inquisitor will desire this Spider. Combined with the Riding skill, regeneration times for this aspect will eventually be lower when mounted than on foot!
Ilgard's Judgment is a set specially focused on the Gruesome Inquisition aspect, giving bonuses to all five combat art levels and their regeneration times. This set gives excellent increases to melee offensive power and boosts vitality and constitution.
