An Ice Crystal is an item which can be found as a drop from certain enemies or bought from a blacksmith. It can be forged into a damage converter slot to add Ice damage to melee or ranged weapons. This will also increase the Chance for inflicting Freeze on enemies when they are hit by the weapon. |
Visual Effects
When a weapon is socketed with an Ice Crystal, the weapon icon turns light blue. White hoarfrost emanates and pulses downwards off the weapon, while projectiles fired from Energy Weapons and Magic Staves become like frozen balls of ice.
