This is the name for the 8-part 'chain-quest' starting in the Shadowy Catacombs.

The eight quests in this chain are:

In order to start your journey towards completing this multi-part quest, you will have to kill Tybor and pick up the List of Names.. The detailed information on this string of quests starts HERE

Shadow Alert: The Shadow quest only has a few twists but otherwise is almost exactly the same as the Light version. You will still visit all NPC's, and quest objectives are the same. The difference are briefly mentioned in the Quick Walkthrough and are explained in more detail in the Notes section of each sub-quest.

1. Fallen Heroes Kill Tybor and pick up List of Names Travel to High Elf Outpost and speak to Officer Sin'doral Collect 5 Dogtags from defeating kobolds and return to Sin'doral Shadow Alert: You will kill Patrol soldiers to get dog tags Travel and talk to Ex-Soldier and escort him to house just north of Benny's Corn Circles Speak to the Caretaker Defeat 5 Resurrection Opponents and pick up Resurrections - The Naked Truth document Return to Caretaker and confront him. Defeat Caretaker and his 2 Guards Pick up List With Names and Badge Numbers Kill 6 Ex-Soldier zombies

2. Relatives Travel to Thylysium and talk to Isanora Defeat 2 High Elf Soldiers Talk to Malrina Talk to Jorinda Shadow Alert: The chat is different and you have the option of killing her. Talk to Guard Pick up Registry of Resurrected Heroes and Registry of Resurrected Criminals documents

3. In Search of Life Travel to High Elf Outpost just north of Clearview Speak with Commander Winderlich Teleport into cave and talk to Yusuf Shadow Alert: Yusuf's chat is different. Defeat Yusuf and High Priest Hessus Talk to Winderlich again then leave cave Shadow Alert: Instead of speaking to Winderlich, he will instead be 'killed' by the Brainless Reanimated Creatures (You cannot interact with them) Head south just below Clearview and speak with Priest Hindruil Head north to Artamark Talk to Ensign Zahar who's just north of the gates at Dragonmaw Pass

4. The Lives of Others Talk to Ensign Zahar Escort Zahar and defeat 8 Revenants Return to where you met Zahar and talk to him Travel to Griffinborough Speak to Notary A. Point Travel to Trallheim Manor and enter cellar Defeat Lair of the Undead and Dumb Undead Defeat High Priest Hessus, Johannes and John the Resurrector Pick up The Book of the Dead and leave cellar Travel to Orcish Byway and speak to Farmer Benjamin Travel to Orcish Byway Cemetery and enter vault Kill 6 Undead Kill the Undead Beast Talk to Abbott Charolus then defeat him Pick up Demonic Essence and leave vault

5. Orcish Necromancers Talk to James Orkus at entrance to vault in Orcish Byway Cemetery Travel south of the Blade Fields in the Nor Plat region Find and speak to Chieftain Gron'kar of the Blood Orcs Defeat 9 Undead Talk to Gron'kar again and then kill him Pick up the Pyramid of Control Travel to the Dragon Sea Islands Speak to Commander Winderlich at the entrance to the Seraphim Tower Shadow Alert: Winderlich chat is different and you will kill him here (The Seraphim had resurrected him)

6. Past Mistakes Talk to Hudelia 4 times Shadow Alert: The first chat with her is slightly different Teleport into Seraphim Arena Defeat 6 Undead Zombies Defeat 4 Undead Ogres Defeat Undead Dragon Teleport out of arena and speak with Hudelia again

7. Waking the Dead Enter Carnach Cave Find and talk to James Orkus Travel with Orkus to Loromir the Wise Speak with Lorormir and Orkus Travel to The Swamp Collect 10 Swamp Herbs south of the Ruins of Gazath Collect 10 Undead Hearts killing undead creatures around Sethiaz Travel to Khorum in the Bengaresh Desert Speak with Alchemist Cassandra Find waylaid caravan and kill 10 Cursed Priests and Mummies Recover 10 Shipment of Goods and return to Cassandra Get map and head to Twitty Tister Find Rose of the Wind and head to Rajab Use forge to cleanse sword Talk to Resurrected Corpse Talk to James Orkus and then eliminate him Pick up Orcish Document and Medallion of the Dead Travel to Dyr Lain Enter cave near where Forest Guardian resides

8. The End of Life Speak to Ancient Malra in cave Go further into cave and defeat the undead Krendel Return to Marla and then head to Wastelands: The Great Machine Speak to the Cleric at the Wastelands Coast Defeat 5 Clerics and then head to Great Machine Speak to Hudelia and then to Adanis the Undead Defeat Adanis to complete this loooooong quest and get your reward: Tyranny of the Condemned

Notes

You should do this class chain quest in conjunction with the Main Campaign Quest. The 2 quests follow nearly identical paths and you'll need to do main quest to open up new regions.
