A root sprouts from the ground, holding opponents in one place while damaging them. (50% increased physical damage) Sprawl - Increased duration of Tangled Vine. (40% increase) Silver Singe - Roots inflict additional fire damage. (50% from base physical damage, but damage type fire) Impair - Reduces the rooted opponents attack speed. (20% + 0.5% per CA level) Gold Encroach - Increases the range of Tangled Vine. (400% + 2% per CA level increased area of effect) Intent - Increased chance to land critical hits. (15% chance) Skills and Attributes The following skills and attributes will affect this combat art: Intelligence will raise its damage Stamina will decrease its regeneration Nature Weaver Focus will decrease its regeneration Nature Weaver Lore will raise its damage Concentration will decrease its regeneration Combat Discipline will increase its Damage and reduce its regeneration time if this Combat Art is placed within a combo. This increase in Damage is direct; it increases the +xx% that the CA adds to base damage. Usage Strategies Acute Mind will increase this Combat Art's damage significantly and reduces the Regeneration Time. Causes vines to erupt from the ground and encircle a single enemy. This enemy is not able to move for the duration of the vines. Melee enemies who are out of attack range do nothing. Enemies with ranged attacks or spells may or may not continue attacking. The Encroach Gold mod causes the area of effect of the Combat Art to expand, allowing for multiple enemies to be trapped in the vines. Early on, this is typically 3-4 enemies at once, depending on their proximity to one another. The size of the vines varies noticeably, as the same visual effect of vines is scaled depending on the size of the enemy. Rats and other tiny creatures are surrounded by tiny tendrils, and dragons are surrounded by thick vines.
