Sacred 2:Bone Spear

Also known as the Talon of Trang'Oul, this spell enables the Necromancer to call upon the remnants of the spirits of all the creatures who have ever died in the area. It accumulates their fossilized remains and summons forth from the ground long shaft of dense, fossilized bone, piercing any opponents in its path. This is a Spell Damage Based Combat Art. Aspect - Poison and Bone Innate Abilities (Lvl 1) Damage: 52-52 (approx. 65% Physical, 35% Magic) 4 meter radius Regeneration Time: 4.0 seconds Modifications See also: Sacred 2:Combat Art Modifications Bronze Terror - Enemies flee in fear (50% + 0.6% chance per level). Brunt - Increases the chance for critical hits (20% + 0.2% per level). Silver Chaos - Significantly expands the damage range of Bone Spear (+ 2.75 meters radius). Velocity - Bone Spear hits twice. Gold Gash - Adds bleeding (physical) damage over time (22 + 11 per level). Impale - Deals double damage to opponents whose health is below 25%.

Skills and Attributes

The following skills will affect this combat art:

• Tactics Lore - improves combat art damage, critical chance, allows for modification points.

• Poison and Bone Focus - reduces regeneration time and allows for higher level combat art without penalty, allows for modification points.

• The appropriate Weapon lore (such as Magic Staves when the Necromancer is wielding a staff) - will increase the execution speed.

• Concentration - directly improves regeneration time.

• Ancient Magic - directly improves combat art damage and lowers opponents' resistance to its damage.

• Combat Discipline - will increase the damage of this combat art and lower its regeneration time if it is placed in a combo.

• Damage Lore - will improve the chance, duration, and strength of the secondary damage effects triggered by Bone Spear: Chance for Weaken.

The following attributes will affect this combat art:

• Intelligence will increase its damage and spell intensity.

• Stamina will lower regeneration time.

Usage Strategies

• Note that, like all CA's in the Poison and Bone aspect, casting speed is determined by weapon speed, and can be boosted by weapon lore skills and +% attack speed. Likewise, the casting speed will be penalized by wielding a weapon with too high a level. Tactics Lore serves as the aspect lore skill in terms of damage boost, critical chance, and modification points.
• Range can be expanded to great effect with silver mod Chaos and/or Combat Art Range +X% modifier on gear.
• The Velocity modification essentially doubles the damage of Bone Spear. Another major benefit is that both hits have their own chance to apply other mod effects, like chance for fear, critical hits, bleeding, deadly strike, etc..
• Cursing enemies beforehand with Lower Resist and/or Decrepify is highly recommended.

• Can be modded for crowd control or for boss-killing.
• Good damage and mod effects.

• Small radius without boosting combat art range.
