Sacred 2:Holy Freeze

This Combat Art is a (Buff) Using this aura, the Paladin causes the temperature of the air around her to drop drastically, freezing the flesh of her enemies. Those so affected will find their movement drastically hindered and are easily dispatched back to the Hells from whence they spawned. Holy Freeze cannot be used in conjunction with Holy Fire. Aspect - Blessed Defense Innate Abilities (Lvl 1) Hits per second: 0.5 Boost to All Ice Damage: 50% + 2% level Slow Enemy Movement Speed, Attack Speed and Cast Speed: 40% + 1% per level Range: 10 meters Allies Benefit: 50% Regeneration Time of all Combat Arts: +40.0% Modifications See also: Sacred 2:Combat Art Modifications Bronze Resist Cold - Bestows ice damage mitigation to the Paladin (20% + 0.2% per level). Defiance - Increases the Paladin's defense rating by 30% + 10% per level. Silver Frost Field - Increases the range of Holy Freeze by 2.5 meters. Congeal - Adds a chance for Holy Freeze to stun enemies (15% + 0.1% per level). Gold Insulate - Reduces the regeneration penalty of Holy Freeze by 25%. Icicles - Further increases all ice damage by 50% + 2% per level.

Skills and Attributes

The following skills will affect this combat art:

• Blessed Defense Lore - improves casting speed, allows for modification points.

• Blessed Defense Focus - reduces regeneration time penalty and allows for higher level combat art without penalty, allows for modification points.

• Concentration - directly improves regeneration time penalty.

The following attributes will affect this combat art:

• Stamina will lower regeneration time penalty.

Usage Strategies

• Hits enemies in pulses and also boosts any ice damage (weapon or spell) that the Paladin or party members may be inflicting.

• Holy Freeze does not cause any damage, but the freezing effect cannot be resisted. Enemy total speed is decreased for 6 seconds, and the buff will constantly reapply its effects.

• Ice damage mitigation from Resist Cold stacks with other sources of damage mitigation and can eventually reach 100% (ice immunity).
